Hi, I’m Susan Marie Almquist — a second-generation, former attorney.

When I became a mother, I reexamined what it meant to be smart enough to earn these credentials, but challenged to build a career that also leaves room for family, community, passions, and freedom.

Lawyers know this tension. Accountants know it too.

Today, my children are grown, and I’ve found my sweet spot.
